Mr. Samson is currently the founder and managing member of The Franchise Edge. Through the direction and foresight of Mr. Samson, The Franchise Edge educates and illustrates all the new challenges franchisors face; from compiling information for the UFOC to marketing consultation for new franchisees.
Prior to forming The Franchise Edge, Mr. Samson founded a franchise company and was the Managing Member of Head West Enterprises, LLC. Through his dedication, perseverance and knowledge of franchising, Mr. Samson enabled the brand to grow to 52 units with another 90 committed prior to transitioning the brand and trademark in August of 2005. His experience in franchising developed through his involvement as President and founder of Lenny & Vinny’s Management, Inc. which was a pizza chain, corporately owned and managed, which grew to 14 units. |

Most recently Mr. Brown served as Real Estate Manager for Family Dollar Stores. He was responsible for site selection in North Florida. Prior to joining Family Dollar Stores Geoff served as Vice President of Nuts On Top, Inc., the area developer for Cold Stone Creamery in Alabama, Georgia and Florida, where he was responsible for all aspects of franchise development including development, logistics, marketing and real estate. Geoff graduated from Heald College in 1992 where he earned a degree in Accounting. |

From June 2002 to present Mr. Smith was Founder of The Blitz 20 Minute Total Fitness for Men franchise. From January 2002 to August 2005, he was the Owner of a CDT Non-deadly Force Training business. From January 2000 to September 2005, he was the Owner of two Tropical Tanning Salons. From October 2000 to December 2002, he was the Owner of two USA Tae Kwon Do centers. From June 1999 to August 2005, he was the Owner of two Curves for Women fitness and weight loss centers. From August 1997 to January 2000 he was Investment Consultant for International Business Services. |

Ms. Guilfoyle brings to the team her extensive knowledge of sales and marketing. With over 15 years of sales and motivation training, marketing development increased sales by more than 27% annually for 7 consecutive years. She is the former CFO of a privately held company with annual sales of $12 million. Ms. Guilfoyle was marketing and sales manager for an online ordering process company and has done strategic and business planning through a number of corporate ventures. In addition, she is the co-founder of a high tech advertising medium company. |

Ms. Ranck has more than 12 years experience in the public relations industry. Ranck gained the majority of her experience in the travel and tourism industry where she worked for more than seven years for the Orlando/Orange County Convention & Visitors Bureau, Inc. In that position, Ranck performed all aspects of public relations from media relations and writing to strategic planning and crisis communication working with media in seven countries. Most recently, Ranck consulted for clients in the real estate development and tourism industries. |

Mr. Traina has over 20 years of experience in advertising and design. He was the creative director for Andes & Partners Advertising from 1985-1991. After which, he formed Base Ten Design. He has experience with numerous clients, including, but not limited to, the General Mills Restaurant, Group Security Link, Western Reserve Life, and Devon-Aire. In addition to design services, Mr. Traina is also an accomplished artist and photographer, doing work for advertising clients and publications nationally. |
